Beauveria bassiana is an entomopathogenic fungus that grows naturally in soil. Beauveria bassiana when get in contact with the host; it infect the host, the fungus grows fast inside of the host ’s body. Feeding on the nutrients present in the host’s body and form a large number of mycelium and spores inside the body of host and also producing toxins continuously, which disturb the metabolism of the pests and eventually makes it inactive.

MODE OF ACTION :
The spores of this fungus when come in contact with the cuticle (skin) of target host, they germinate and grow directly through the cuticle to the inner body of their host. The fungus proliferates throughout the host’s body, draining the host of nutrients, and eventually making it inactive.
INCREASES PRODUCTIVITY :
Helps to increase productivity by improving crop health through controlling the pests and helps to maintain eco balance. Adding beneficial microbes can help improve the soil microbiome, which inturn improved fruit yield or crop health.

METHODS OF APPLICATION :
FOLIAR SPRAY (BORER & CUTWORM) :
Mix 10 g of beauveria bassiana powder with 1 liter of water without any lumps and spray over the plants.Beauveria bassiana prefers a humid environment. Best to apply during late afternoon or evening and also during cloudy or rainy days.
SOIL APPLICATION (SOIL GRUBS) :
Mix 20 g of beauveria bassiana powder with compost and sprinkle around the plant or tree trunk in the soil.For Plantation crops like banana, coffee, avacoda, orange etc.
FIELD APPLICATION :
Mix 100 g of beauveria bassiana powder in 10-15 kg of farm yard manure.Mix well and keep the mixture under shade with sufficient moisture for 1 week and then broadcast in the field.
