Application Methods
Foliar Spray
Mix 5–10 g per litre of water (or 1 kg per 200–250 L for field use) and spray evenly on leaves, covering the undersides.
Drip Irrigation
Mix with water, filter, and apply through the drip system for uniform soil distribution.
Soil Application
Blend 1–2 kg per acre with organic manure or compost and apply near the root zone or base of trees or broadcast uniformly over the field.
Seed Treatment
Coat seeds with a light mixture of powder and water before sowing.
Utkarsh Vertioz-P is compliant with The Insecticide Act 1968 and is based on a selective strain of naturally-occurring entomopathogenic fungus Verticillium Lecanii 1.15%W.P. and having CFU count of 1 x 10^8 per gram minimum., Strain: AS-MEGH-VL: Accession No MCC 1028. Utkarsh Verticoz-P is a biopesticide that works as a bio-insecticide prepared by the concept of Biotechnology.
Utkarsh Verticoz – P gains entry through the cuticle by enzymes. It infects insects by producing hyphae from germinating spores that penetrate the insect integument. Utkarsh Verticoz – P then destroys the internal body contents resulting in the mortality of insects, It eventually grows through the insect cuticle and sporulates on the body of the insects to produce a cyclopeptide toxin called Bassianolide, which kills the insect in 4-6 days.
TARGET INSECTS and CROPS:- Utkarsh Verticoz – P is effective against Leaf folders in paddy crops, different sucking pests, all the insects including mealy bugs, white flies, aphids etc in all kinds of vegetable and fruit crops. Verticoz-P is a unique remedy to control the Mealy bug in cotton and citrus. Verticoz – P is also effective against Scales insects in Citrus.
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:- Add 7-9 gm. Of Utkarsh Verticoz – P in 1 lit of water and spray over infested plants.
