READINGS – Moisture readings on a scale of 0 (dry) to 10 (wet), light readings range between 0 (dark) to 2000 (light), and pH readings between pH 3.5 (acidic) to pH 8 (alkaline).

The garden accessories every plant parent should have.
I am writing this review after using the product for more than a month. First let’s talk about the quality of the product the material quality is top notch no doubts at all (note that don’t use it in hard soil or if you’re not sure if there are stones in soil it will break the tip and then it will be of no use).It has 3 meters in it one for checking how moist is the soil which helps a lot sometimes top layer of the soil may be dry but inner layer may be moist and if you water the plants it will eventually kill the plant by rooting the roots. The 2nd meter is the light meter which is for me very beneficial because I have a lot of indor plants and now I can keep a check on how much light my plants are receiving and can adjust them accordingly the 3rd one and the most important for me is the PH level meter it will show you if the soil is alkaline or acid is nature and if you’re plants are not growing properly and if they are dying even though they are receiving proper sunlight and water than my friend it because of the soil in which you have kept them and the PH meter helps you in understanding if the soil is good for plants or not and you can add fertilizers or change the soil accordingly.I bought this mainly for my Alocasia which leaves were drying even though it used to receive proper sunlight (which the plant requires to grow) and also the watering was correct but because of the soil being acidic in nature the plant was unable to grow properly and the leaves were drying and with the help of the meter I could make the changes accordingly and now my Alocasia is doing amazing…Even tried the meter with my other plants like monstera, snake plant, lemon…..(can’t name all I have around 70 of themð ð¤)It’s worth every single penny.

Itâs beginnerâs best tool to guide him/her on proper indications of plants environment needed for it to perfectly thrive. And it can also be used otherwise.Not perfectly accurate due to scale monitor but will get you right values. A little on plastic build but nodes are decent quality and will bear normal wear & tear.Kindly clean every time before and after use to extend life.

Being a new home gardener this tool is really smart and accurate. Itâs not like it gives a standardised measure but I have tested light, moisture and PH level across all the plants I have and it gives varied results. So side ring this is solar powered the probe is environment friendly. If you wish to take proper care of your plants then this is one instrument which can be very handy for you to keep a tab on specific requirements. A very good product at a reasonable price.

A must have for all Succulent plant lovers.
Easy to use, may not be accurate but it helps in moisture detection. I tested with two different pots, and it rightly pointed out which pot contained more moisture. I tested the light metering part also and understood why my Ficus plant was shedding leaves – absence of bright light. Ph meter I have not tested and not interested also. I am also very satisfied with the package. The rear part of the packet ckearly mentiond names of plants and required moisture and Ph level; please never discard the package. A caution/ tip from me; If one is required to measure the Ph/Moisture level of a heavy plant in garden soil like Bougenvilia, Rose, Hibiscus and/or any vegetable plant then do not use the instrument to directly dip into the dry soil. The prong(s) may break not only due to soil hardness but there may be hard rock like particles below. So use a screw driver to make two deep holes and then insert the prongs slowly and carefully to take readings. Happy metering…

Inaccurate Meter.
Convenience and ability to read the data is very easy – the fact that it does not require any kind of power source is a major advantage.The equipment however, is not accurate at all. 2 noâs were bought from the seller based on the huge number of reviews and tested in the same soil, in the same insertion point one after the other – one tested at ph 7 and another tested the same soil in the same spot at 6.The instruction provided by the seller were followed to the letter. The soil was made slightly damp and testing was undertaken – after each use, the probes were thoroughly cleaned with a soft cloth.While the meter is cheap, people who buy a Ph meter do so for accurately gauging soil status so that necessary preventive / corrective steps to improve said soil can be undertaken.Those of you who are looking for a good Ph meter – look else where for a good Ph meter as this is not suitable for those who require accurate readings as Iâm not sure which of the 2 meters is correct – if I wish to maintain a soil ph at 6.5 as certain plants require it, I am at cross roads and unsure to whether add an alkaline or acidic component to the soil and the entire point of buying a Ph meter has been made null and void due to poor accuracy.
