On an Anker portable battery bank, this runs 7-8 watts. It is enough to run 4-6 1/4 inch irrigation tube sprinkler heads. On my BigBlue CellPowa 500, the pump runs 11-15 watts and has a much faster flow. I have not tested how many sprinkler heads it would be able to support.I bought it with:100 Foot hose:https://amzn.to/3Ls8CN7Garden hose fittings (to attach to a rain barrel):https://amzn.to/3Y4T8pDWater pump strainer (stops particles from entering the pump prop):https://amzn.to/46msZVLSome other ideas:Automate with a Raspberry PI: https://amzn.to/46dd0cj…protected with a case: https://amzn.to/461PuPz…connected to a relay: https://amzn.to/3Lm0E8h…with jumper wires: https://amzn.to/4f6LzVu…powered by a good battery bank: https://amzn.to/3Y5VFjG…which can be charged with a solar panel: https://amzn.to/3LK02cR…by USB-C: https://amzn.to/3W7brI7

It doesn’t say how many Amps it needs exactly but based on the power supplies that didn’t work I’d say 12v 4A is the minimum that it wants. Using a 3A makes it cut out sometimes. But although you can’t adjust pressure (a definite minus), for the price and features, it works. To adjust pressure higher, you need to loosen the press switch housing. It does slighty raise the cut in to cut out ratio. I got mine to 120psi cut out this way with 95psi cut in… My first pump on its own hit 150psi…but I don’t think that’s safe… It raised up as it broke in…or got clogged? Some pumps have very poor self priming, others are great. If you get one that is poor, return n replace it, it’s supposed to prime well.An alternative to save time (cuz I got 2 In a row that had zero suction even if you dipped it water. Is to take the 5 screws on the front and back off and wiggle the “+” looking plastic piece and add a light coat of silicone paste to it and reassemble as you found it (don’t forget the spring). This can get jammed if it’s been sitting a while or unused.

bought since it was the only semi-ideal pump for an RO membrane high-side that wasn’t 120vacsadly the pump was not wired properly, one of the motor feeds(the one from the pressure switch or the positive switched supply) was simply jammed into teh moro terminal holeI opened it up because I wanted to see if the pressure could be tweaked and to check on the safety devices it might haveI think most of the people complaining it died or was DOA had gotten debris in the inlet(not good for a slurry pump) or had issues with the polyfuse/wiring removing power from the motor, or did not have a good power supply(I needed to add a 12v supercap block to make it run well)after you make sure the wiring is good it handles a range of 85-100psi(not adjustable, sadface) quite well, though it is decently loud and the vibration mounting causes the switch head to tap the surface it is mounted toit works and I made it reliable, but not for the noobs, and they had better fix the loose wiring issueedit: after about 4 months the motor is now overheating and tripping the PTC fuse after only a few minutes of runtime, will be adding a 60C thermal switch into the housing on the new unit to see if it is just really bad at running for long stretches at ~80psi, though 20$ every 4 months aint bad for what you get, even if you have to rewire every unit to have proper crimp terminals and connect to your preferred connector
