A Solid and Versatile Manual Sprayer!
I have been using the Balwan Krishi SP-20 sprayer for few days now, and I’m really impressed. It’s a pretty good, solid manual sprayer that feels very sturdy and durable. The product is sturdy and good quality, made in China! 2 things to note: 1) price is at higher side for such a manual sprayer. 2) To switch to foam sprayer mode, we need to open and pull the flexible tube, which may lead to tube damage after repeated use (rather they should have used a turning ring to block the air intake port). The supplier has contacted me for if any support needed. Trial use performance is okay.. Overall 3- 3.5 star.

Usable with some tweaks for me
Received a well packed, brand new unit with all the said attachments. As said in reviews, I am also concerned about changing the pipes for spray vs foam. Not that I need to change them frequently, so hope it goes long. I used a wavex shampoo for testing this out, and used the suggested ratio 1:9. The foam that came out was quite watery, did not find it suitable for car wash. Did that trick of punching an additional hole with a needle in the upper part of the foam tube. Made two holes, and now the foam was thick but was sucking in too much air. So, taped one hole. Now the foam is as expected :)Wonderful build quality, solid feeling in hand, and the piston also feels sturdy enough. Coming to the effort. I have an i20. A 1L mixture seemed enough for me for quick wash (900ml water + 100ml shampoo). You need to pump some 50-60 times for full blast (assuming 1L fluid inside, because the more you fill, the less you can pump owing to less space for compressed air..another reason to have just 1L at a time for me), but since the pumping action is small, you can do that very quickly (3 pushes per second, so within 20 seconds) while keeping the unit on ground. After that, you are good to foam for some 15 seconds or so. Hence, to cover full car, you might need to do full pumping 5-6 times (50 pumps for the first time, 25-30 for rest). In addition for wheels, a single pumped unit can cover 2 wheels easily. (For washing, I use that resqtech manual washer, so both these units give me a good cardio! Can’t use electricity and don’t have water supply nearby where my car is parked, so this fully manual approach is the only thing I can do. Honestly, I can see myself giving this manual shampoo wash to my car twice a month, jab tak body allow karti hai ! )All in all, it’s okay for the price I paid, which is 800/-, maybe around 600/- would have been great though. Customer care contacted me next day to resolve any queries. I hadn’t used the unit till then. Unit comes with 6mo warranty, which is good to have.
