I have purchased this pump to drain out my 200 ltr aquarium much faster.Pros:1. As claimed it doesnât drain 5 ltr per minute, but it works at least very close to it.2. Even after using it for 30 minutes, pump was not heated much. Although it is winter season, hence I would measure the variation of temperature before and after use.3. Definitely it is self primming and that was the main purpose of buying this pump.4. Overall finishing of the body is also very good.Cons:1. However wires should have been encased properly.2. The noise level is little high, hence while using the pump I need to keep the doors of the adjoining rooms closed, so that others are not disturbed.3. One thing I would liked to mention here that seller didnât dried up the pump after testing it and prior to the shipment, hence when I removed the inlet and outlet caps a good amount of water came out which could have damaged the pump otherwise. But I was happy to know from it that seller has tested the pump prior to the shipment to avoid any unnecessary hassle in future from either side.4. No shock absorbing material inside or outside the box. Although pump was not damaged and was in very good condition but many a times I have seen items get damaged due to this during the shipment.Overall I am happy with is item and definitely I would recommend it since I am going to buy a second pump for my second aquarium after using the first one for few days.
