Poor quality Tiller but good support team
This tiller came with a defective worm gear box. One side was intact but the other side was completely broken (see images). It got hot within a few minutes of operation. However, the Sharp Garuda support team sent a replacement worm gear box and synthetic oil for lubricating the same. It was very difficult to disassemble and then reassemble the replacement worm gear box. But it somehow got done. I paid from my pocket for shipping the defective gear box to them. There were also issues with Tiller not running when the petrol tank was half full because the pipes weren’t long enough. I replaced it at my own cost.Another issue: the on-off switch comes off easily. Finally, the Tiller is running now. Need to see if the worm gear box (which is the product’s USP) truly makes a difference or not. Only time will tell.
