Trichoderma species fungi are free-living fungi that are commonly found in soil and plant root. Trichoderma species are important in soil as they can be used as biological agents in controlling many plant diseases and also have plant root growth promoting capabilities.
Pseudomonas fluorescens are gram-negative rod shaped aerobic bacteria that inhabit soil, plants, and water surfaces. It is used as a bio-control agent against several plant disease causing pathogens. Pseudomonas fluorescens produces a soluble, green fluorescent pigment pyoverdine which is responsible for chelating iron only when concentrations are low. Pseudomonas fluorescens are commensal species with plants, allowing plants to attain key nutrients, degrading pollutants, and suppressing pathogens via antibiotic productions.

APPLICATION METHODS :
INDIVIDUAL PLANTS :
Mix 5 g of trichoderma viride or pseudomonas fluorescens powder with 1 litre of water.Apply directly to the plant soil.
SEED TREATMENT :
Mix 10 g of trichoderma viride or pseudomonas fluorescens powder with 1 kg of seeds and sprinkle small amount of water to have a uniform coating of the inoculants over the seeds.Shade dry the seeds for 30 minutes.Shade dried seeds should be sown in the field within 24 hours.
SEEDLING ROOT DIPPING :
Mix 100 g of trichoderma viride or pseudomonas fluorescens with 10 litres of water.Keep the seedling roots immersed condition for 10 minutes and transplant to the field.
POTTING SOIL :
Mix 100 g of trichoderma viride or pseudomonas fluorescens powder with 15-20 kg of potting soil.Leave for 10 days and then use for planting.
